Description
Ditches are filled with wonders and milkweed is a favorite of mine. The long, white, flossy hairs of the seeds are lovely when lit by back light. The larva of the Monarch butterfly specializes on milkweeds, and its populations are affected when milkweeds are eliminated from cropland with pesticides. Oil paint filter version.

Thank you, Betsy! I too am on a Mac. I do basic processing in Lightroom, often refine my vision for the image in Nik software, and then use Topaz Impression for painted versions. Compared to other paint software, I find it easier and more intuitive. I particularly like the Swirly presets as a starting point. Let me know if you need more details. :)
